I’m Tricia Spicknall-a wife, mom, and speech-language pathologist in the Atlanta area. I’ve worked in a variety of settings during my career, including university clinics, outpatient hospitals, private practice, and the public school system. I found my passion providing early intervention therapy with children in their homes and preschools, because it affords me the opportunity to work directly with families to create lasting change.

I created this website to give support and encouragement to parents, caregivers, and professionals working with children. I empower families to feel confident and competent in daily interactions and routines with their children.  When families are encouraged and connected, each member thrives.

"I empower families to feel confident and competent in daily interactions and routines with their children."

I have experience working with children with various challenges, including oral-motor deficits, speech delay, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, and Dandy-Walker syndrome. I also have experience working with adults who demonstrate disorders of language, cognition, voice, and swallowing following brain trauma.  I hold a Master’s degree in Communication Disorders, a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and a professional license from the State of Georgia. I’ve also received specialized training in child and adult language, oral motor, feeding and swallowing, and parent coaching. I am certified in the Hanen: It Takes Two to Talk Program® to provide parent workshops and coaching for parents of children with language delays and difficulties.
