“I understood for the first time that education is not merely about facts learned in a classroom, but about living ideas that can fill hearts, minds, and souls with intellectual food that satisfies. And for the first time in my life I got a vision for creating a truly lifegiving table, a feast for the whole person.” - Sally Clarkson from Awakening Wonder

With so much uncertainty during these times, I wanted to provide you with a concise list of homeschool curriculums and resources for your family. Homeschool is more than covering specific subjects- it allows you to cultivate “a truly life-giving table, a feast for the whole person.”

My love of language and child development in my professional work provided a natural progression into homeschooling my own children. I incorporate both structured academics and hands-on learning with a focus on faith and character development, learning readiness, great literature, life skills, and a love of the outdoors with my young learners. This option has worked well for our children (ages 7 and under). Every family has unique learning needs and schedule challenges, and so I encourage you to explore what works best for you and your family.

It has taken me YEARS to establish a mix of curriculums that feel like a good fit! If you are considering learning at home, I would encourage you to read about different learning approaches. Make note of the methods that jump out to you and feel like a natural extension of the way you interact with your children.
