“The teacher becomes an instrument by which the unfolding potential of the child is realized bit-by-bit."

-Charlotte Mason, The Philosophy of Education

The curriculums listed below have been used in our home or come recommended to us. I have put an asterisk (*) by those our family has personally used. Click on the links below to learn more. Many of these items are available for digital download or can be used with multiple children or families. Homeschooling is always better with a friend or two, and it certainly helps to share materials!

Preschool/ Early-Learning Curriculum

Curriculums are helpful in providing structure to your learning! I always incorporate hands-on learning with preschool age and early learners (K-1), so I would recommend completing only about 1 hour of structured academics tasks per day with kids under 6. Learn throughout a normal day in addition to your academic tasks! Incorporate counting of Cheerios during snack time, focus on letter-sound awareness as you read books, do math facts while playing card games. Allow for frequent outside and non-structured play! Read this great blog post over at Read-Aloud Revival with encouragement to keep those early years simple and fun!
